The city of Trani has one of the main castles built by Frederick II of Suevian, the scene of events both sad and joyful. In these places Frederick, in view of the Venetian ships, made hang the son of the Doge of Venice; the wedding of his son Manfredi with Helen of Epirus was celebrated. Related to the period of Frederick are also the four synagogues in the city.

ITINERARY: start from the Jewish Quarter (visit to the synagogues of Santa Maria di Scolanova and of Santa Anna) – arrival at the Castle of Hohenstaufen.
